I am Jaclyn Brothers and I love supporting people's businesses and professional careers by helping them realize their vision for their internet presence. I use my background as a former speech therapist to effectively communicate and coordinate with you to ensure we are on the same page and you get the final product that completely meets your needs.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of my students had difficulties using and participating with virtually provided materials. I was able to develop projects that increased student accessibility, engagement, learning, and mastery of skills. This sparked my fascination for developing web applications individually and within teams that further increase user accessibility and satisfaction. I have also built modern and responsive websites using best practices for clients. I enjoy collaborating and look forward to meeting you! When I am not programming, I enjoy being out in nature, listening to music, and watching NBA games.

Squawk Space is a full stack web application for students, teachers, and speech therapists. Students practice their communication skills by creating posts, asking open-ended questions, and making supportive comments. Users also have the ability to like another user's post and delete comments.

This application was created for students in order to keep track of their classroom assignments and upcoming tests. The user can create, save, edit, and delete their assignment while setting an upcoming due date. Homework Bound was a project I worked on with a team of developers at 100Devs.

This project allows the user to enter in a movie to recommend and its genre. Users can vote on movies that were recommended by clicking the like button and movie recommendations can be deleted.
